Multi-threaded download utility with aria2 engine for your browser! Download Tools is a simple and yet powerful add-on that allows you to easily download files with a multi-threaded technique in your browser. It uses an open-source software called - aria2. According to the aria2 website (https://aria2.github.io/), it is a lite multi-protocol and multi-source command-line download utility. It supports HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent and Metalink. This add-on uses nativeMessaging (https://developer.chrome.com/apps/nativeMessaging) technology to communicate with aria2 utility on your machine. Before using this add-on, you need to have aria2 executable on your system. You also need the native-client patch to build the communication between aria2 and your browser. First, please visit this (https://github.com/aria2/aria2/releases) page to download and install the aria2 engine on your system. Then, please visit this (https://github.com/alexmarcoo-nt/open-in-native-client/releases) GitHub repo and download the related patch for your machine. Follow the instruction in the above GitHub page to install the patch in your system. After installing, download tools add-on in your browser can communicate with aria2 client on your machine (Window, Linux, or Mac). Improve your online security with few tweaks via toolbar popup! Security Tweaks is an extension that helps you improve your security while browsing by using eight different techniques. Simply open toolbar popup UI and mark a desired tweak. Please note that, only few tweaks are selected by default. There are few settings (related to JavaScript, inline-script and cookie) available in toolbar popup to adjust. Currently there are 8 tweaks available for this add-on: 1. Block most common ads. 2. Block third-party JavaScript. 3. Enable safe-browsing. 4. Block cookies. 5. Block inline-script. 6. Block Flash contents. 7. Disable window.eval(). 8. Block most common malware URLs. Easily organize all your open tabs in multiple windows from toolbar popup! This extension is designed to organize tabs from the toolbar popup. The UI for the extension can also be opened in a standalone popup window or a new tab (choose an item from the toolbar button context-menu). Tab Manager add-on supports multi-window and incognito mode. To work with this addon, just open the extension UI and start managing your tabs. Within the UI you can see a search bar at the bottom. Above that, there is the list of open tabs for window #1 (a new section is added for each new window). Within each row (tab item) in the list, there are several buttons. The first is the pin button which can be used to pin a desired tab(s). Next is the HTTP/HTTPS sign which shows if a website supports SSL protocol or not. The third icon is the tab icon which updates automatically depending on the tab URL. You can see the tab title right after the tab icon. There are also two buttons on the right side for editing or removing the current item. Please note that within the extension interface, all tab items are draggable. Once you drag an item, the actual tab will be re-positioned as well. Note: The extension interface supports dark mode. To switch the interface theme to dark, please press the moon icon in the bottom-right toolbar. See the true URL for all links and improve your security! Link Revealer extension is designed to improve your online security. When you hover on any link element, the underlying - href - will be displayed as the link's title. Moreover, a colored footer will also be displayed at the bottom of the page showing the link href. If the underlying domain for the link is similar to the page's domain, this color will be BLUE. If the link is third-party the color is GREEN. For a situation where the displayed URL in the link's text content is different than the underlying href, the footer color will be RED. The toolbar icon color will also be updated according to the above rules. For any link, if you right-click and select - Scan link for threats, the add-on scans the link with the SafeBrowsing JavaScript API (https://safebrowsing.google.com/). When you first install the add-on, please visit the options page to activate the safe-browsing API. From the toolbar popup, you can also turn the add-on ON or OFF. Moreover, you can hide the page's footer if you find it inconvenient. Please note that you can still scan links for threats even if the page footer is hidden. Download the source code for chrome extensions via toolbar popup in .zip or .crx formats. This extension allows you to download the source code for chrome extensions. Please open the toolbar popup and add a valid extension URL in the designated input field (top section). You can also navigate to the chrome web store, find an extension, and then open the toolbar popup. The URL for the active tab will be automatically inserted into the input field. Once the URL is added, the related extension ID will be extracted and written in the - Current extension ID - area. Now, please click on the - Download as CRX - or - Download as ZIP - buttons to start downloading the extension as ".zip" or ".crx" formats. Please note that the progress bar in the toolbar popup shows you the current progress for downloading the extension. Once downloading is done, the final file will be available in the default download location on your machine. Note: The extension interface supports dark mode.
