Automatically learns to block hidden trackers. Made by leading digital rights nonprofit EFF to stop companies from spying on you. Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them. Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way. I still don't care about cookies
Community version of the extension `I don't care about cookies` (no Avast) This is a community updated version of a popular extension that got acquired by Avast with the source code on https://github.com/OhMyGuus/I-Dont-Care-About-Cookies ------- This extension removes cookie warnings/pop-ups from almost all websites! The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser. In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.
Canvas Fingerprint Defender
Canvas Fingerprint Defender is a lite extension that lets you easily hide your real canvas fingerprint by reporting a random fake value. According to many tech blogs, completely blocking canvas fingerprints is not a good idea, therefore reporting a "fake" fingerprint could be the best solution to better protect your privacy. This addon simply adds a small noise to the actual fingerprint and "renews" it every time you visit a website or reload a page. It is important to note that, it does not have any settings or options to adjust. Simply add it to your browser and start surfacing the internet. If you want to test this addon, please visit a website that shows your fingerprint (i.e. browserleaks). Every time you reload the page, you will see a new fake fingerprint. To report bugs, please visit the addon's homepage (https://mybrowseraddon.com/canvas-defender.html) and fill out the bug report form.
Terms of Service; Didn’t Read
Get information about websites' terms of service and privacy policies, with ratings and summaries from ToSDR. “I have read and agree to the Terms” is the biggest lie on the web. We aim to fix that. "Terms of Service; Didn't Read" is a user rights initiative to rate and label website terms & privacy policies, from very good (Class A) to very bad (Class E). This extension shows this rating for rated websites by an unintrusive icon in the address bar. You can click on this icon to get a list with the most important rated points of the website's term of services. Additional the extension will warn you when you visit for the first time a website with a bad rating. Optionally you can notify companies for their grades by sharing on Twitter, if you do not like this feature, simply head over the settings and hide the share button. This extension is open source. You can report bugs or propose new features at https://github.com/tosdr/browser-extensions.
