Reddit Liberation: Feed Blocker
Stay Productive, and “unreddit” your addiction This Chrome extension helps you break free from endless scrolling while keeping Reddit’s useful features accessible. It blocks feeds but still lets you open comment threads from external links (e.g., Google search, shared links). Reddit is both a productivity tool and a time sink. This extension helps you stay focused by eliminating distractions while preserving its utility.
No more politics please
"No More Politics Please" is a Chrome extension that empowers users to filter out political content from their X feed. Using community-driven voting, it allows users to collaboratively identify and hide unwanted political tweets. The extension seamlessly integrates with X's interface, adding a thumbs-down button to each tweet for easy voting. Voted tweets are instantly hidden from your feed, and once they cross the community vote threshold, they will be hidden for all users. Built with privacy in mind, it only tracks tweet IDs, and no user information whatsoever.
Subreddit Blocker
Block subreddits from feeds such as /r/all and /r/popular This extension block subreddits from feeds such as /r/all and /r/popular. On reddit.com/r/all and reddit.com/r/popular you see a variety of "cards" on these sites and these cards come from a variety of different "subreddits". On the website there is currently no way to alter which cards you see on this site, it's determined by reddit itself. Using this extension you can add "subreddits" which will then be blocked from the website and so when you go to reddit.com/r/all and reddit.com/r/popular you will no longer see the "cards" of these blocked "subreddits".
News Blockade
Sometimes we need to take a break from some of the news - but not all of the news. News Blockade will remove chunks of any website based on a list of "stop words" that you want to take a break from. The stop words are completely customizable, but we also supply a set of predefined stop word lists that you can choose from: News Blockade defaults to "no filtering." You can filter by opening the extension, opting to filter that website and choosing your stop words. News Blockade will work on any website, including Google News, NY Times, Washington Post, etc. It even works on Facebook. And you can toggle the filtering on-and-off per website. (It will also work while in Incognito mode, but you need to select that choice in the Extensions - Manage Extension option.)
