A schedulable and customizable dark theme for facebook.com and messenger.com This extension provides a native dark theme for both facebook.com and messenger.com. It applies the native coloring by altering the original colors to bring a dark appearance. This theme is customizable from the options page. Also, the user can inject custom CSS styles into these websites to improve the styling and make it more personalized. You can turn the dark theme on and off from the toolbar button (action button). Also, it is possible to set a schedule (e.g., night-time duration only) to automatically turn the extension on and off. Features: 1. Uses the original theme 2. Does not invert colors 3. Supports single-click on and off feature 4. Supports schedule on and off 5. Does not mess up the original theme 6. A highly customizable dark theme for Google products (search, images, translate, and contacts) "Dark Theme for Google" extension brings a customizable dark theme to some of the Google services such as Google Search and Google Images. The extension supports all localized Google domains. Using this extension you can customize many colors including background and link colors on the options page of the extension if you don't like the default configuration. Features: 1. You can define a period for the extension to automatically activate the dark theme 2. You can append your custom CSS rules to the default dark theme from the options page 3. You can ask the extension to automatically follow the system color scheme (turn dark theme on when the preferred color scheme is dark and turn it off when not) (this feature uses the JavaScript's matchMedia method to install a listener for prefers-color-scheme). 4. Supports "Calendar" and "Messages" services (as of version 0.5.0) -- This extension is an independent open-source project and is not related to Google Inc in anyways.
YouTube Dark Theme
A light, dark theme for YouTube with easy toggle on and off and scheduling support. This theme is based on the default YouTube theme "Dark Theme for YouTube" extension converts YouTube theme to a highly customizable dark charcoal/blue theme. This extension is built on top of the default YouTube theme (native dark theme) so it is very light-weighted compare to using themes injected by Stylish or Stylus extensions. Features: Turn on and off from the action button to switch between light and dark themes Accepts scheduling to turn on only on the specified period Customize default color scheme Inject custom CSS to alter the default theme (change font-size or font-family for instance) How does this extension work? This extension alters a cookie globally to turn the dark theme on and off. It also injects a lite script to the YouTube pages to alter the color scheme of the root element. In oppose to the other similar extensions, there is no resetting of the default theme or inverting the white theme with an inversion filter. Both of these methods are computationally inefficient. Instead, this extension asks YouTube to turn the native dark theme and only alter the global CSS variables to alter the colors. Note that this method only works if the product supports native coloring. Some Google products do not yet support this feature.
