Downloads Also Bought, Also Viewed and Also Read data, as well as Top 100s and Hot New Releases from the Amazon Kindle Store This extension lets you download: - Lists of titles shown on a particular book details page in the Kindle Store. These may be 'Also Bought', 'Also Viewed', 'Books you may like', 'Products related to this item' or other names. - Top 100 and Hot New Releases lists for an Amazon category page - Search results (US store only right now, but other stores will be added soon) Self-published authors on the Amazon Kindle Store can use this information to identify books similar to their own titles for research purposes. Currently the extension works on the US, UK, DE and Canada Amazon stores, but I'll look at adding support for others in future. When the extension is loaded, you should see a button with a download icon appear next to the title lists ('carousels') in a Kindle Store book details page, as well as the Top 100s and Hot New Releases for a category, or the search results. Different pages may have one or more of these at different times and in different places, so if you don't see them, try another book, or the same book at another time. To use the extension, click the button. You should see each page in the carousel load in turn, and when the end is reached, you should get a popup to download the file, or see the file automatically downloaded (depending on your browser settings). *Just added*: support for downloading cover montages as well! When you download the book data, you'll get another prompt asking if you want to 'download multiple files'. Click 'Allow' and you'll get a JPEG file with a montage of all the covers for the book data you've downloaded. This can be really helpful to get an idea of cover conventions within a genre. Book information is in a tab-delimited text file you can open in any spreadsheet program, and includes the following: ASIN Title Series Author Number of Reviews Average review Price URL to book details page Note: working out the series name isn't always easy. We can handle most common formats like 'Book Title (Series Name Book )', but I have learned that there's a much bigger range of formats out there than I realised. If the series name can't be identified, then it just throws up its hands and dumps the whole thing into the Title field, which you can search on anyway. Book formats are always changing, and so this extension might break if it encounters a new one it can't handle. If this happens, please drop me an email at with the details of the book on which it happened, and I'll do what I can to resolve it. Permissions required for the extension to work are because it adds a 'download' button to the Kindle Store book details page. Always exercise caution when downloading files from the Internet.

Get notifications on price changes and new reviews for Amazon books WriterWatch notifies you when Amazon books get new reviews or change in price. In addition, WriterWatch displays the follower count of an author as well as the current ABSR of each book. Every twenty four hours, WriterWatch checks for updates on Amazon - and adds an alert to your toolbar in Chrome if a change is found. With Writer Watch, you: - Always know the number of followers on Amazon - Know the ABSR of all tracked books - Save time from regularly checking books - Notice changes quickly so you can take the necessary action - Don’t miss out on price opportunities - Can react to negative reviews - See new positive reviews as they arrive in the store Writer Watch also helps authors fight back against Amazon spammers, who can hijack books and change the price. However, it is our goal to keep this Writer Watch free - this way, more authors will be able to use it and see if/when they are scammed. The faster an author picks up on scammers, the sooner they can stop them, and thus the less profitable it becomes for the scammers. If this happens enough, scammers will give up. By limiting to 50 books, we are able to serve more authors in this fight against spammers. At the moment, Writer Watch is only available for Amazon US. We're investigating how to make it available for international markets, but wanted to make Writer Watch available as fast as possible to help authors fight against spammers. Goodreads for Authors to protect their mental health that hides ratings and low reviews. This plugin was made for authors who would like to use Goodreads but not at the cost of their mental health. When enabled in the NEW Goodreads theme (as shown in screenshots 1-3) it automatically sorts your reviews to 5* and most recent. If you're still on the OLD theme, you can try opening an incognito window and paste the link to your book. There's a high chance it will be the new theme (might take a few tries), just make sure to enable the extension to work with private browsers first AND once you get the new theme you have to reload the page once for the sorting to adjust. In the new theme it immediately hides: 1. Star ratings on all pages, including individual book pages and author profile. 2. Number ratings on book pages and author profile. 3. Ratings graph below Community Reviews on book pages. 4. Social ratings on the book pages. 5. All reviews that are not set as 5* on book pages. 6. Average number rating on the Author Dashboard. 1. Currently Reading and Want to Read numbers. You can still see them above the About the Author portion, or on your Author Dashboard. 2. If you or your mutual friends rated and/or reviewed a book. 3. You can still see all ratings information if you click on Book statistics without turning off the plugin. When enabled in the OLD Goodreads theme (as shown in screenshots 4-5) it: 1. Automatically hides ALL ratings and reviews except ones you write as there is no way to auto-sort or hide only the lower ratings (sorry!). 2. Also hides sort controls to avoid seeing the numbers of low star reviews. You can still see your currently reading and want to read numbers if you click on Author Dashboard under Your Books (all star and # ratings are hidden so there's no risk).
