AI Patent Search Generator: Boolean Queries, Prior Art, Google Patents
AI-powered patent search assistant. Generate boolean queries, extract concepts, rank results, and produce prior art reports. The AI Patent Search Generator is an AI-powered patent search and analysis assistant for patent attorneys, paralegals, prosecution professionals, R&D teams, and inventors. Generate boolean queries, pull complete patent dossiers, analyze Office Actions, decompose claims, surface PTAB challenges and litigation history, and produce examiner-grade prior art reports — all from your browser side panel. Enter keywords or paste a technical paragraph into the side panel. The AI generates professional boolean search strings — or extracts structured concepts with synonyms and importance levels for advanced workflows. Open any patent on Google Patents and click the extension to auto-load its full Patent Dossier. Pull a complete 14-section dossier on any US, EP, or international patent. Paste a patent number or click while viewing one on Google Patents and it auto-loads. (3 credits, 24-hour cache) - AI Executive Overview — plain-English summary written for non-lawyers, generated for every dossier - Abstract, Legal Status (active / expired / lapsed / pending), and Patent Family Map - Claim Tree with full dependency visualization - Citation Network — forward and backward citations - CPC Classifications and Similar Patents - Examiner Statistics — examiner name, art unit, total applications, allowance rate, average pendency (powered by USPTO ODP) - Prosecution History (File Wrapper) — every USPTO action, direct PDF access, category filters - Office Action Analyzer — AI-powered breakdown of rejections, cited art, and suggested response arguments using Gemini's multimodal PDF analysis (5 free per application, then 1 credit) - Claim Chart — per-claim element decomposition mapped to examiner-cited prior art (bundled) - IDS Generator — auto-built Information Disclosure Statement from backward citations and OA-cited art; export as filled USPTO SB/08 PDF, DOCX, CSV, or internal XML (bundled) - Legal Intelligence — validity challenges, litigation, ownership, and term (see below) - Export & Share Answer the questions a search alone can't: Has this patent been attacked, and did it survive? Who's been sued over it? Who owns it now, and when does it expire? One click loads the full legal layer for any US patent — free for signed-in users, drawn from USPTO public records (Open Data Portal, PTAB, and the USPTO Patent Litigation Dataset). - PTAB validity challenges (IPR / PGR / CBM) — petitioner, owner, and outcome - District-court litigation history — every infringement suit on record - Chain of title — assignment history and current assignee - Term & expiration — base term, PTA adjustments, and anticipated expiry - Maintenance-fee status, entity status, prosecution timeline, attorney/agent of record, and pre-grant publication detail Reverse lookup by company name: surface every patent infringement suit a company has been involved in — as plaintiff or defendant — pulled from the USPTO Patent Litigation Dataset. Opens in a full-tab report. (free) Enter search terms and instantly generate three boolean search strings — broad, moderate, and narrow — optimized for Orbit/Quartet or Google Patents. Copy to your patent database or search Google Patents directly. (1 credit) Describe your invention in natural language and the AI extracts key concepts — devices, processes, materials, properties — each with editable synonyms and importance levels. Toggle, edit, or add your own concepts, then run searches from the concepts you've built. Concept extraction is free. - Quick Search — Runs parallel searches (raw text, boolean tiers, and AI-optimized) using proximity-paired concept queries. Results are deduplicated and ranked by relevance. (1 credit) - Pro Auto Search — A multi-round AI-driven pipeline. Round 1 searches and analyzes results, then the AI refines your concepts, runs similarity searches on top patents, and executes a refined second round for deeper coverage. (1 credit) Every search result is analyzed and scored by AI. Patents are ranked by relevance with evidence snippets pulled from abstracts and claims. Sort by AI score, priority date, or multi-source match. Low-relevance results are automatically filtered out. Generate a structured prior art analysis modeled after a USPTO examiner's report — concept-by-patent coverage matrix, Section 102 anticipation analysis, and Section 103 obviousness combinations with motivation-to-combine reasoning. (1 credit) Generate a comprehensive 8-section patent search report with AI-powered invention summary, search methodology, EPO-categorized references, concept coverage matrix, claim charts with element-by-element mapping, 102/103 analysis, and patentability conclusion with recommendations. Export as PDF or DOCX. (2 credits) Pro searches include a detailed search report showing every query executed, result counts, relaxation steps, and timing — full transparency into how your results were found. - Patent Risk Profile (new, live) — paste a patent number for a one-shot risk assessment: a Low / Moderate / High verdict with plain-English rationale, backed by the full legal-intelligence layer (validity challenges, litigation, ownership, and term). PaperPanda 2
PaperPanda helps you download papers 🐼 🐼 🐼 This is the new next-generation version of PaperPanda 🚀 PaperPanda helps you download scientific papers and do research. You’ve probably run into this problem – you want to read a paper, but it’s locked behind a paywall. Maybe you have access to it through your library or university, maybe it’s available to download for free through an open access portal, maybe the author uploaded a PDF to a website somewhere – but how are you going to find it? PaperPanda is here to help! Just click the tiny panda in your toolbar and the panda will run off and find the paper for you. One-click access to millions of research paper PDFs on thousands of academic websites. Save time navigating paywalls, logins and redirects. Once you have the PDF, you can easily download it to your desktop. Perfect for students, researchers, and academics. PaperPanda uses some clever logic and the Panda’s detective skills to find you the research paper PDFs you need. Essentially, when you activate PaperPanda it finds the DOI of the paper from the current page, and then goes and searches for it. It starts by querying various Open Access repositories. You can also set your university libraries domain in the settings. PaperPanda will then automatically search for the paper through your library. You can also set a different custom domain in the settings. Email getpaperpanda@gmail.com for support.
Open Google Patents
Opens Google Patents for a selected patent identifier. This solution allows you to quickly open Google Patents for a selected issued patent identifier or pre-grant publication identifier. Select a patent identifier in text, then open the context menu and select "Open Google Patents" from the menu. You can normally open the context menu by right-clicking. For example, selection of "US7654321," and then "Open Google Patents" from the context menu, opens a new tab to the URL https://patents.google.com/patent/US7654321. The solution works for both issued patent identifiers (e.g., US7654321, EP1234567) and pre-grant publication identifiers (e.g., US20240011111). Because the solution uses the identifier in the corresponding Google Patents URL, it is NOT currently possible to use the patent application serial number (e.g., US18/123,456). Note that in the absence of a country code prefix, the presumption is that the identifier is for a US patent document. Be sure that the identifier has the country code included if the associated document is not a US patent document. The extension should work for any webpage loaded after the initial installation of the extension, as long as JavaScript is enabled. Please let me know of any issues you experience before writing a review -- I'm happy to continue to improve the solution. The extension is provided 'As-Is' without any express or implied warranty of any kind. Note that I do not collect any information from the extension -- all handling is done at your local browser. ----------------------------------- v1.9: - Updated to use a window popup instead of a desktop notification for error messages. v1.8: - Updated to use Chrome extension manifest V3 v1.7: - Added selected text to the context menu item. - Updated to force uppercase for country code and kind code since Google Patents doesn't always handle lowercase letters. v1.5: - Modified code to require minimal permissions. - Removed handling of links, as this functionality was of minimal value, and this removal allowed for a reduction in needed permissions. v1.1: - Updated to handle identifiers without country code but with a kind code.
