Displays the number of previous visits on the action icon, and displays the dates of 50 last visits when clicking the icon. If you sometimes visit a website, and you're not sure if you've previously visited it, but want to know, then this is the extension for you. It works by querying the browser's built-in history API - which means that if you have cleared your browsing history, it will not appear in this extension either. I plan to also add a search option, but otherwise the extension is meant to remain simple and minimal.

Make the websites you visited easier to view
Visited Links Marker
Keep track of visited links from your history and don't read the same posts again. WHAT DOES IT DO? 1. Visited Links Marker changes the color of the link that you have previously visited according to your browser history 2. you can choose any color 3. you can choose which websites the extension will run on WHY IS IT USEFUL? - If you read blogs, do research, watch videos etc., you will immediately see any articles or videos you have previously clicked on. So you don't have to consume them again. - It will be easier to navigate the website because the links you often click on will be a different color so you'll see them immediately. EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT If you find a bug or have an idea for an improvement, I'd love to hear your recommendations. This is the first version and I want to improve it gradually. Mark Selected Links As Visited
Marks selected links as visited. If nothing is selected - marks all links on page as visited. 2025-03-06 Starting from Chrome version 133.0.6943.142 links added to history by extension are not styled as visited by Chrome. Temporary solution is to disable chrome://flags/#partition-visited-link-database and chrome://flags/#partition-visited-link-database-with-self-links flags. 2025-03-21 Starting from Chrome version about 136.0.7079.0 Google returned possibility to style visited links, but only for links leading to the same site where extension was used. 2025-04-30 Chrome 136 final version arrived. Partition flags are still available. If flags are enabled, extension works like from 2025-03-21. If flags are disabled, extension behaves like before 2025-03-06, but this will probably not last forever and flags will be removed soon(they still exist in 138 version). Extension also has some context menus for link and selection. And it can even unmark links via context menu of extension icon. Please note that extension does not colorize links, it just puts them in browser history. If visited and unvisited links on some site look the same, then you also need some other extension to distinguish them.
Link Control
Link Control - Adjust the color of your previously viewed links. No more trying to tell the difference between blue and dark-purple at 2 a.m. Easily customize the color of your visited links by selecting from a range of predefined colors or choosing your own custom color. Use the included blocklist to prevent Link Control from running on certain sites, or, if you prefer, use the allowlist to enable Link Control only on certain sites. Good for users who have a tough time with colors or who are color-blind, as you can choose exactly the color you want for your visited and default (non-visited) links. For me, I work a lot at night and have a tough time distinguishing those regular blue links from the purple visited links. It started costing me time so I decided I would make this extension to help out myself and others. # Update - v2.0.2 - 04-16-2024 - Overhaul UI to make it easier to use - Add ability to additionally color the default (non-visited) links - Add allowlist (whitelist) in addition to the existing blocklist (blacklist) - Add additional contrast option
