Watch videos on YouTube fullscreen within your browsers screen. A simple and lightweight extension that adds an icon which allows the YouTube video player to fill the entire page, as a full browser player. Note: I'd requested notification permissions to be able to show a little popup when I add new features in an update but have decided to remove this in 4.9. UPDATE: Now works with new Youtube UI! Simple YouTube Windowed Fullscreen
⚠️ ALERT: The extension MAY no longer work as well as it used to due to recent YouTube changes. 😢 I have no idea if/how I can resolve the issue on my end. If you have ANY idea, please open an Issue/Pull Request in the GitHub! ⚠️ It will ATTEMPT to use the original system, but if that fails, it will fallback to just a regular YouTube URL/video in the specialized window (but it should remove all distractions using custom CSS, just won't be as nice as the original/embedded method). Simple YouTube Windowed Fullscreen is an extremely simple extension (only 14 lines of code) that allows you to open YouTube videos in their own pop-up windows. This is great if you're watching a long video or movie and want to multi-task. Or, you just like being able to see your taskbar and to easily manage the YouTube video's display. Activated either by clicking on the extension's icon in the toolbar or by using a customizable keyboard shortcut (default is Ctrl+Shift+W). Youtube Time Remaining
Show a Youtube video's remaining view time based on current position and playback speed. Unlike standard video time displays, this time left counter does not speed up or slow down when you change the video's playback speed. This allows you to always know how watch time remains in real hours, minutes, and seconds. After installing the extension, refresh your browser and watch a Youtube video. You should see a new time value in the video's control panel that tells you how much time is left until the video ends.
YouTube Playlist Length - Duration Display
A Lightweight extension that displays the length of the current YouTube playlist A Lightweight extension that displays the length of the YouTube playlist you are viewing or watching. It works on both the Playlist viewing page, and the watching page, blending in with YouTube's existing stats. The display can be customized to your preference - these options are accessible from the extension's popup (as shown in the video above). Please leave your feedback and suggestions for any extra options you would like! For playlists longer than 100 videos, you will need to scroll to the final video on the Playlist view page for a full calculation. Unfortunately this will not work on the watch page as YouTube only loads up to 400 videos. Hover on the length displayed to view how many videos have been counted.
