An open-source, lightweight extension that allows using DuckDuckGo-like bangs anywhere. "Bangs are shortcuts that quickly take you to search results on other sites. For example, when you know you want to search on another site like Wikipedia or Amazon, our bangs get you there fastest. A search for '!w filter bubble' will take you directly to Wikipedia." ➡️ How does the extension work Simply install the extension and use any of the supported Kagi Bangs (see https://kbe.smaertness.net/). Bangs can be used at the beginning or at the end of the query, e.g.: • Kagi Bangs: More than 13,500 default bangs included. • Custom Bangs: You can create your own bangs or override defaults. • Custom Bang Symbol: Define your own custom symbol(s) to trigger the bangs. • Multiple Target URLs: Open multiple websites with a single bang. • Custom Base URL: Specify which URL to open when the bang is triggered without arguments. • Fast Redirections: Bangs are resolved locally, without Kagi as intermediary. • Address Bar Trigger: You can use bangs directly in the URL bar. • Search Engine Trigger: Bangs also work from the search bar of your favorite search engine. • Backup and Restore: Never lose your bangs. • Mobile Support: Yang! is also available on Firefox Android. • Do bangs sync across devices? Yes... and no. Bangs will sync across all the Firefox desktop browsers in which you are logged in with your Firefox account. However, the sync between desktop and mobile is currently unsupported. As a workaround, you can create a backup on desktop and restore it on Android (or vice versa). • Why does Yang! need permissions on a 300+ sites? Instead of requesting data access on all sites, we granularly specify the search-engine sites that Yang! supports (which yeah, they're quite a few). You can find which sites we request permissions for in the manifest.json.
!Bang Quick Search
This extension adds DuckDuckGo !bang search to chrome. You can use it from the URL bar as long as your default search engine is either google or bing (for now). You can also use it directly on google's and bing's websites. UPDATED FOR V3 - although the extension has been crippled due V3 changes, it still redirects, just not as seamless. Note: This extension is basically in beta. I would very much appreciate any feedback in regards to any issues, compliments, new features, or suggestions. I am maintaining this on my own and will get any features or fixes as soon as possible. Thank you for trying out this extension! 1) Your default chrome search engine must be set to Google or Bing (for now) - The reason being is because chrome only allows me to redirect from certain websites, so I would have to add every site to the permissions in order for it to work. I will gladly add any requests sent in. 2) Enter your !bang followed by your search term (or search term followed by the bang), hit enter and you'll be automatically redirected to that site with your search term! Ex: !a tablet or tablet !a will automatically bring you to amazon with tablet as your search! 3) You can even just enter the !bang and it'll bring you to the website's homepage! UPDATE: This extension now supports ANY and ALL !bang searches that are supported by DuckDuckGo!! Updates: v1.1 - Fix Amazon multiple word search v1.2 - Add Google Scholar and JS optimization v1.3 - Add search request through DuckDuckGo to support all !bang searches v1.4 - Will no longer do a bang search when there is not a letter following ! (Any search with a ! would cause a bang search) v1.5 - Fix an issue where any prediction/ autofilled text was not being caught for a !bang search v1.6 - Remove unneeded chrome extension permission v2.0 - Added V3 support

Kagi FastGPT To Markdown
Copy Kagi's FastGPT Questions and Answer To Markdown I love using FastGPT to start researching different topics. Not only do I read the initial response, but I also check the listed sources. Very often, I want to save the question and answer to study more later without having to leave dozens of tabs open or repeat the same search more than once. So, I've created this simple extension that grabs the answer and question from FastGPT and creates a nice markdown, copying it to your clipboard. I know FastGPT's answer is already in markdown format, but the extension gives me a more convenient way to copy and paste.
DuckDuckGo to Google
Unhappy with DuckDuckGo results? Quickly search the same query on Google. Use the toolbar button or the keyboard command shift + g Use extension's toolbar button or the keyboard shortcut (Shift + g) while searching on DuckDuckGo. It would load the Google search result page for the same query. Visit homepage for more: https://browsernative.com/duckduckgo-to-google-search/ Extension by BrowserNative.
