Make any webpage into a content editable document and modify it via toolbar popup! Page Edit is an extension that let you make changes to any HTML webpage. To work with this add-on, simply open the toolbar popup UI and then click on the big toggle button on the left side. Once the add-on is active, the icon turns to blue color. A - Design Mode - banner will also be shown in the current tab at the top left corner. Now, the document is ready for editing; make desired changes with the text editing buttons available in the toolbar popup UI. Once your edits are completed, click on the toggle button again to turn off the add-on. Note: to work with text editing tools in the toolbar popup UI, please first select a text and then click on the desired button in the popup. Design Mode - Page's Rich Text Editor
Edit any page's content by switching to design mode, where you can modify the content and drag images around like a Word Editor This extension modifies the current page's attributes to act like a content edible document (Similar to MS Word, or Open Office). This allows the user to: 1. Edit the page content 2. Drag and drop assets 3. Remove elements that cause chaos on the page 4. Insert , , , and heading elements. 5. Convert font styling to bold or italic. 6. Add a link to the selected text. 7. Insert bulleted and numbered lists. 8. Increase and decrease indentation. 9. Insert an image. 10. Convert selected text to a blockquote. 11. Turn spellcheck on and off. 12. Remove formatting. With this extension, you can edit the entire document and when it is ready, toggle back to the read-only mode (normal operation mode). The modified document can be printed or saved like any page. Usage Instruction: 1. To enable the extension, press the toolbar button once. When the document is editable, the toolbar button is blue, and you will get a desktop notification 2. To switch back to the normal mode, press the toolbar button one more time. In the normal mode, the toolbar color is gray. Notes: 1. You can save the modified document in HTML or MHTML or print it. To save in MHTML you will need to install an extension. 2. To change the formatting of a text into bold, select the desired section, and press Ctrl + B or Command + B. For italics, press Ctrl + I or Command + I. Alternatively, the extension inserts a helper toolbar so that you can access the rich text editing tools from a floating panel.

(Including slashes at the end!) - 'Recursive' > The code will also run on all sub-pages of the specified URLs in the 'Active Websites'. - The 'Position on page' dropdown (only with HTML): - 'Top' > The HTML will be added to the top of the page. - 'Bottom' > The HTML will be added to the bottom of the page. - 'Replace' > The HTML will replace the entire body HTML of the page. - The 'Manipulate' or 'Update Manip.' button: - Injects the code into the page or updates the injection. - **This button also works when the 'Active' checkbox is unchecked.** - The 'Remove Manip.' Button: - Removes the manipulation from the page. - If the "Auto ⟳" checkbox is checked, the page will automatically reload after pressing the 'Remove Manip.' button. The 'active' checkbox will also be unchecked. - The 'Delete' button: - Deletes the current file from the storage. - You can right-click any element on a page to get the CSS path of that element. - If the extension button in the top right corner is greyed-out, you can't use it on that page. - Make sure the 'active' checkbox is checked. And the 'active websites' input contains the correct URLs. - For JavaScript: - Make sure your code is run at the right moment. Maybe try adding a delay. - Check the browser console for error messages. - For CSS: - Make sure you are manipulating the right element by using "inspect element". - Try using '!important'. - For HTML: - Make sure you haven't accidentally set the 'position' dropdown to the wrong position. - Removing and updating JavaScript manipulations might not work the way you expect it to. Removing your JavaScript manipulation from a page only removes the element, so dynamic changes made to the page will stay there even when you remove the manipulation. To completely remove everything the manipulation did, you must reload the page. This extension works on most sites, but there are some exceptions!
