A simple browser extension to add user-defined URL redirections. This extension lets you create custom URL redirect settings, making it easy to access sites that have changed domains without a proper redirect.
New Tab Redirect
Allows a user to provide the URL of the page that loads in a new tab. Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice! Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank. Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:/// Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences. Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus. I am not affiliated with Google or Google Chrome. Shorten URLs with ease. The only URL Shortener Extension that doesn't open a popup. Clicking the Extension Icon is all you need to do to shorten and copy the current URL, with no extra clutter to distract you from your browsing. The same functionality is added to Chrome's Context menu for links, right-clicking a link gives you the option to shorten and copy the clicked link with just one click. An 'OK' or 'ERR' badge is displayed on the Extension Icon to notify the user about a successful shortening and that the shortened URL is now copied to the user's clipboard, or to notify the user of an error. This extension uses TinyURL's URL Shortener Service to shorten the URLs. This extension does not store user data at any point. The current URL (or the URL from the clicked link) is the only thing that gets sent to the TinyURL API. The original URL or the shortened URL is not stored by this extension.
