Read for connection. Every day. The Vocabulary Quiz helps you test a student's English vocabulary range using words drawn from the kasahorow Learner's Dictionary. The quiz uses the language connection, so the student sees/hears a word in their target language and must recall the English meaning aloud back to you, either from memory, or by using their Learner's Dictionary. How to use the Vocabulary Quiz as a Teacher ===================================== + Order a [Learner's Dictionary](https://fienipa.kasahorow.com/gua/t/1000/en) for each student. + After installing the extension, pin it to your Chrome browser and click on it to add your [Consent Code](https://www.kasahorow.com/app/1) and select the student's preferred language. 1. Open a new tab and click **Vocabulary Quiz** in the page menu, or click the **Vocabulary Quiz →** button that appears. 2. The quiz reads your currently selected language from the extension settings. The connection shown at the top of the quiz page tells you which language pair is active — for example *English Ossetian* or *English Akan*. To quiz a different language, change your language in the extension popup first. 3. Choose how many words to cover: **5**, **10**, **15**, or **20** depending on how much time you have per student (or even better, pair students so one acts as a peer teacher to their classmate who is improving their vocabulary). 4. A word in the target language appears on screen. Read it aloud to your student. 5. Your student says the English meaning aloud. 6. Tap **Reveal the English answer** to see the correct answer. 7. Tap **✓ Correct** or **✗ Not quite** to record your student's result. The quiz moves to the next word automatically. 8. At the end, a score screen shows the percentage correct and a short assessment. You can quiz again with the same number of rounds, choose a different number, or close the page. + Don't see your favourite language? Having any trouble? Contact us at help@kasahorow.com from the same email address you used to sign up for your https://nyaseto.kasahorow.com support plan. + Tell your friends to install it too. So we thought, let's take *one* of our amazing gifts--language for authentic connection--and remind the world about it. Hence our name "kasahorow" which means "many languages" in Akan---a language of West Africa. When you read a language, you are able to share in the author's feelings across space and time--so that you can feel the excitement we felt as we were writing this even though you are not physically close enough to touch our goosebumps! Amazing, isn't it? So read something everyday. In Tasker, setup an AutoRemote profile with a "call=:=" message filter and with a direct call task where you use the "%arcomm" variable as a phone number Quickstart guide: - Start by adding your Android devices at the top - Add any commandyou want at the bottom. Rules will be setup one by one for the devices you choose. - If you check the "Don't send right-click selection with this command" checkbox, the selection you choose on a page when you right-click it, won't be sent with the message. - You can also use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+1 to Ctrl+Shift+4 to quickly use the commands you have defined.
