This lightweight browser extension automatically adds a Steam button to Twitch whenever a streamer is playing a game. If the game is on Steam, the button lets you instantly open its store page in a new tab. Hovering over the button shows a rich tooltip with game details, screenshots, price, live player count, sale info, and review summaries. It also shows which other stores carry the game, like Epic, GOG, PlayStation, and Xbox, with direct links when available. The ability to open Steam web pages pages in the Steam desktop client isn't as easy as it could be, so here's to an easier way. A simple button will appear on most Steam webpages which when clicked will reopen that exact page, just in the Steam desktop client. I'm just a guy who loves to write code. I'm only human, so there will likely be bugs somewhere.
