What it does (only after you explicitly consent, and for participants 18+): • On Facebook, collects the ads you receive, the ads you click, and the explanations Facebook provides (e.g., “Why am I seeing this ad?”). • Collects public posts and posts that link to news organizations. • Measures exposure and engagement signals, including: time an ad/post is visible on screen; scroll/move/click signals; (x,y) mouse position when entering an ad area; and actions such as reactions, comment interactions (including writing a comment), shares, saves/hides/reports, opening landing pages, interacting with carousel media, checking advertisers, and related actions described in the study consent. • Collects information shown in Facebook Ad Preferences pages (information you shared with Facebook and information Facebook inferred about you). • On a predefined set of monitored news websites, collects which news articles you read and how long you spend reading them. Identifiers and technical data: • May collect hashed versions of your email and Facebook ID if you shared them with Facebook. • Collects connection/technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and diagnostics (e.g., whether an ad blocker is installed; when you connect to Facebook). Important note: Ads, explanations, posts, and Ad Preferences attributes can reveal sensitive topics (special category data) inferred by Facebook and may be inaccurate. Participants may also be asked to complete surveys; survey answers are stored in the research database. How data is stored and shared: Data is stored on a dedicated secured server and may be shared with academic researchers upon justified request via authenticated access once validated. Data may be shared with research partners under contract and may be transferred outside the EU with appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses). Retention: Research data is kept for 10 years. Consent and its date are stored for 15 years. Your rights / contact: You can request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or object to processing by contacting the DPO: dpo@inria.fr . PandaCrazy Max
Extension for Mturk.com to Collect HIT's for you at a set time value. Lot of organizing of panda's for easier use. This extension is only used for MTURK, [Amazon Mechanical Turk](https://worker.mturk.com/), to help in finding and grabbing tasks for a human to work on and get paid where computers may not be able to do. The tasks on MTURK are called HITs, Human Intelligence Tasks, which this extension will try to grab for the user. This extension is not able to create an account, explain MTURK or give any support for MTURK. The extension uses a timer which by default is set at 1 second to grab a panda link from the added jobs. Each job that is added from an external or internal button will be shown in the panda tabs area. If you want a job to start to collect you need to click on the collect button. Each job that is collecting will take turns being fetched by the extension using the timer value. So if you have 5 jobs collecting it will take about 5 seconds to try to grab any HITs from those 5 jobs. When the extension detects that a HIT was accepted it will sound an alarm and/or send a notification to the user. On the bottom the queue watch tab will show any accepted HITs in MTURK queue. Once you have HITs accepted you can go to the MTURK queue page and work on the HITs. This extension will not do your tasks for you. The searchUI page which is called Search Crazy is where all search jobs will be placed. Any search jobs on this page are called search triggers. The extension will monitor the MTURK search page for any of these triggers you have set. You can have triggers look for a requester ID, group ID or a word in the title/description of a HIT. Once the script finds a HIT it will create or start a panda job on the pandaUI page according to options set for the trigger. Any HITs found from a custom trigger with a word or phrase in the title or description and price will sound an alarm and be shown on a tab where you can start collecting it. There is a way to auto collect some HITs too but with limits so your queue won't get filled up with HITs you don't have time to finish. The extension does save stats and HITs history in a database on your computer for future use. You may also export all of your job and trigger data to a file so you can transfer it to another computer or have a backup for emergencies. The alarm sounds can all be changed to a mp3 sound you want if you don't like the default sounds.
