This is 3Dir: an extension that dynamically moves/renames your downloads to directories according to your specified criteria. This is a pre-alpha release. It does only 1 thing: - always moves your download to a folder named the same as the domain name of the download's URL, i.e., essentially a downloads router within your local downloads directory. This has been tested for normal binary downloads and for webpages downloaded using the "Save Page WE" Chrome extension. CTRL+S behavior is not overridden. Feedback is welcome: do it at the project's GitHub page (click Website ->).

Download path route manager
Set your paths for each download. If you're tired of frequent downloads in your web browser and switching save path, this extension could be the solution for you. *Caution*: Rapid tab switching before the download starts immediately after hitting the download button can cause page URL confusion. Files before the download starts could be categorized by the tab changed after. There are three words what you need to know: Classification step, Condition and Criteria. 1. Set default download path in chrome Settings -> Downloads -> Location. Every downloaded files while using this extension will be saved under the folder. 2. Create your classification step. It has save path, an essential condition, ignoring constraint conditions and whitelist constraint conditions. 2-1. Save path is relative path under your default chrome download folder. Type folder path where you want and save it. Ex) /example/myfolder 2-2. Condition has several types and a criteria list. Currently, there are Page path perfect match, Page path starts with and Extension perfect match types. A condition checks current download satisfies one of criteria list. For example, if type is Extension perfect match and criteria has jpg and png, zip doesn't satisfy the condition. 2-3. If a classification step has only an essential condition and downloaded file satisfies it, classification is finished and the file will be saved at path of the classification step. But if there are constraints conditions as like ignoring or whitelist, extension will do additional check before doing essential condition check. Each constraints has list of condition. Ignoring constraint checks whether the downloaded file avoids all conditions in the list. In contrast, to pass whitelist constraint, file should satisfy all conditions in the whitelist. 2-4. If downloaded file passes the constraints and satisfies the essential condition, it will saved into path of the classification step and classification will be finished. However, if the file failed to get saving path at the classification step, it will passed to next classification step and process repeats. If the file failed to get saving path from all classification step, it will be saved into your default chrome download path. 3. You can export and import your download classification setting to your PC for backup. Importing will overwrite current setting. V1.1.0 : Routing by file name starts with and ends with are added. V1.1.2 : Bug fix regarding the export and import of classification data files. Also, the fixed extension doesn't work when the toggle is turned on again after being turned off on the extension management page of the browser. V1.2.2: Removed download classification limit per day now for everyone. No subscription is needed.

Retrospective History
Retrospective History indexes and allows you to search the full text content of your web history. Never lose track of a page again. Search the full text of everything you've read online - right from Chrome Have you ever had trouble recalling where on the internet you found an article, blog post, recipe, or snippet of text that you remember reading? Chrome’s default History stores the title and URL of the websites you visit, ignoring all of the page’s content. If you can’t remember the page title or URL, you’re out of luck. Retrospective History indexes the full text contents of the pages you read, creating a personal, private, and local search engine to make your browsing history truly useful. You can simply browse the web as usual, and Retrospective History will work in the background to automatically index the text content of the pages you visit. A red/green indicator on the toolbar icon shows whether the page you're currently viewing has been indexed. Be sure to pin the extension's icon to your Chrome toolbar so you can easily view this status indicator. If you want to delete the page that you're currently viewing from the index or add its domain to your ignore list, you can easily do so from the extension's toolbar popup window. When you need to find something you've read before, select "Search History" from the toolbar popup to open the search page. Enter your query to find matching results from your browsing history. Unlike Chrome's basic History which only shows page titles and URLs, this extension lets you search the full-text content of the pages you've visited. Please note that Retrospective History does not index certain single page applications and "infinite scroll" style pages. Most social media sites fall in this category. The toolbar icon will indicate whether or not these pages have been indexed. 🔍 Powerful Full-Text Search -Lightning-fast search across the full text of your browsing history -Filter and sort results by the date you accessed each page -View the context of your search term within each result -Easily find pages you visited even when you can't remember their title or URL 🔒 Private -All indexed data is stored locally on your computer -No data is ever transmitted from your system -Your browsing history remains your own 🦾 Flexible Configuration -Define a retention period for your history to automatically delete old entries -Add domains to a personal ignore list to prevent indexing pages you would rather not save -Choose between a Light and Dark mode user interface ⚡ Optimized Performance -Lightweight background indexing that won't slow down your browsing -Efficient storage management with auto deletion options available to clear old entries 👤 User-Friendly Interface -Clean, intuitive search interface -Easily see if the page you're currently viewing has been indexed with a red/green indicator on the extension's toolbar icon -Easy-to-use settings panel Your privacy is key. All indexed content stays on your computer - nothing is ever uploaded to the cloud or shared. You have complete control over what gets indexed and how long it's stored.
