Access free patent examiner statistics directly on the Patent Center website Most patent prosecutors work with aggressive time constraints and switching between the USPTO website to a third-party application to explore examiner statistics can be time-consuming. Further, prosecutors lack reliable metrics to base their decision-making through the prosecution process. Only relying on the allowance rate can lead to wrong decisions resulting in rejects, increased costs, and time to grant. That is why we developed the FREE LexisNexis PatentAdvisor Extension, making examiner statistics available right at the point of need, on the USPTO Patent Center website, providing immediate access to the most essential statistics: With the PatentAdvisor Extension and access to examiner analytics, you can: - Save time and money: with the PatentAdvisor Extension making relevant data accessible at the point of need directly on the USPTO website and also enabling the identification of at-risk applications early on - Get a bird’s eye view of any patent application and direct access to important documents right in your workflow - Improve prosecution outcomes: with powerful examiner analytics, especially ETA, enabling transparency and better predictability - Efficiently manage resources and stakeholders' expectations: The PatentAdvisor Extension is the shortcut to actionable insights that help you better manage stakeholder expectations around the likely cost and length of prosecution. RECAP
RECAP improves the experience of using PACER, the online public access system for the U.S. federal courts. - This extension was created in 2009 at Princeton and is now run by Free Law Project, a non-profit that's working to improve the American legal system. Please join us in our mission of making the legal system more equitable and competitive. - If you use PACER, this free extension will save you money. Every document you purchase will be uploaded to the "RECAP Archive" and every document others have purchased since 2009 will be available to you for free as you use PACER. - You can use this extension to create email alerts for federal dockets. - This extension has already added millions of federal filings to the Internet Archive and to a searchable archive at https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/. - The more people that use this extension, the more money we all save. Help your friends by uploading content and tell them to install RECAP for you too. RECAP has four main features. First, when you purchase an item on PACER, RECAP anonymously uploads that item to our archive hosted at https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/ where it can be searched or downloaded for free by others. Second, before you purchase an item that is in our collection, a link will be provided for you — right inside PACER — to get it for free. Any of the millions of items that have been uploaded so far are already available to you for free. Third, as you're looking at dockets on PACER, you'll see links to get alerts for those dockets via our website, CourtListener.com. Finally, allows you to search our archive from your browser URL bar by using the "recap" shortcut. All of the items that you purchase are also uploaded to the Internet Archive for historical preservation. We are not creating a walled garden. RECAP is compatible with ECF logins and will not upload documents from sealed cases.

Patent Assignments
Provides USPTO patent assignments for any selected text, such as a selected company name or a patent number. This solution allows you to quickly look up any US patent assignments for a given company name, US patent number, US pre-grant publication number, or US patent application serial number in the USPTO patent assignment database. Select a company name, US patent number, US pre-grant publication number, or US patent application serial number in webpage text, then open the context menu and select "Open USPTO Assignments" from the menu. You can normally open the context menu by right-clicking. The extension should work for any webpage loaded after the initial installation of the extension, as long as JavaScript is enabled. Just let me know of any issues you experience before writing a review -- I'm happy to continue to improve the solution. The extension is provided 'As-Is' without any express or implied warranty of any kind. Note that I do not collect any information from the extension -- all handling is done at your local browser. ----------------------------------- Updates: v1.9: - Updated to use Chrome extension manifest version V3 v1.7: - Added handling of US patent application serial numbers (with '/' in the identifier). v1.6: - Reduced needed permissions. - Improved memory utilization. - Removed link hover handling, as this is not a common use case, and doing so allows for reduced permissions. v1.4: Updated to handle the 10-digit US application publication numbers on Espacenet. v1.3: Updated to also handle US patent and publication numbers
Open Google Patents
Opens Google Patents for a selected patent identifier. This solution allows you to quickly open Google Patents for a selected issued patent identifier or pre-grant publication identifier. Select a patent identifier in text, then open the context menu and select "Open Google Patents" from the menu. You can normally open the context menu by right-clicking. For example, selection of "US7654321," and then "Open Google Patents" from the context menu, opens a new tab to the URL https://patents.google.com/patent/US7654321. The solution works for both issued patent identifiers (e.g., US7654321, EP1234567) and pre-grant publication identifiers (e.g., US20240011111). Because the solution uses the identifier in the corresponding Google Patents URL, it is NOT currently possible to use the patent application serial number (e.g., US18/123,456). Note that in the absence of a country code prefix, the presumption is that the identifier is for a US patent document. Be sure that the identifier has the country code included if the associated document is not a US patent document. The extension should work for any webpage loaded after the initial installation of the extension, as long as JavaScript is enabled. Please let me know of any issues you experience before writing a review -- I'm happy to continue to improve the solution. The extension is provided 'As-Is' without any express or implied warranty of any kind. Note that I do not collect any information from the extension -- all handling is done at your local browser. ----------------------------------- v1.9: - Updated to use a window popup instead of a desktop notification for error messages. v1.8: - Updated to use Chrome extension manifest V3 v1.7: - Added selected text to the context menu item. - Updated to force uppercase for country code and kind code since Google Patents doesn't always handle lowercase letters. v1.5: - Modified code to require minimal permissions. - Removed handling of links, as this functionality was of minimal value, and this removal allowed for a reduction in needed permissions. v1.1: - Updated to handle identifiers without country code but with a kind code.
