Tests indicate that the current version (Q4 2025) of ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex can still use the FydeRhythm input method, and the description of the chrome.input.ime API at https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/api/input/ime has not mentioned deprecation. It is important to note that the FydeRhythm input method can only be used as a keyboard input tool in desktop mode on ChromeOS / ChromeOS Flex; it cannot invoke the on-screen soft keyboard input in tablet mode.
