Vertical Tabs - Tabybara
Display and manage your tabs vertically in side panel. This extension lets you display and manage your tabs vertically in the side panel, with support for tab folders (Tab Groups), drag & drop, and dark mode. v1.1 (2025/10/09) – Added tab folders (Tab Groups) with collapse/expand and drag & drop. Here’s a quick guide to help you feel more in control of your browser tabs - and it only takes 60 seconds. Install this extension to see all your tabs in a vertical list inside Chrome’s side panel. Once installed, open and close the vertical tabs panel using the keyboard shortcut: ⌘ + E on Mac or Ctrl + E on Windows/Linux. You can also just click the extension's icon in your toolbar anytime. Pin the icon to your toolbar: 1/ Click the puzzle piece icon in the top-right corner of Chrome. 2/ Find this extension in the list. 3/ Click the pin icon next to it. Now the icon will always be visible. Move the panel to the Left: By default, the panel appears on the right side. To move it to the left: 1/ Open Chrome settings at chrome://settings/appearance 2/ Find the Side panel position option and choose Show on left. Switch Tabs: Click any tab in the list. Close Tab: Hover over a tab and click the x. Move Tab: Click, hold, and drag a tab. New Tab: Click the + at the top of the list. Pinned Tabs: Pinned tabs are always at the top. Create Folder: Right-click a tab and choose Create Folder. Add to Folder: Drag a tab into a folder. Rename Folder: Right-click the folder to rename it. Delete Folder: Either close all tabs inside it or move all tabs out. The panel follows your Chrome theme automatically. It will be light if Chrome is light, and dark if Chrome is dark. Your Privacy This extension runs completely in Chrome. It's designed with a strict no-collection policy, meaning your browsing data is never saved or shared. If the shortcut doesn’t work or you want to change it, go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts and set your own. "Is it possible to hide the top tab bar?" Sadly, Chrome's design prevents any extension from hiding the default top tab bar. So you’ll still see the native bar at the top. Arc Peek: Link preview
"Arc Peek" allows users to preview links, similar to the functionality in the Arc browser. 1. Preview links in current sliding window. 2. Use shift + click link or drag link to open links for preview. 3. Click outside the preview window to close it. 4. Click the expand button to open in a new tab. Some websites may not function properly due to service workers' onfetch handlers, while others disable drag or Shift + Click events, limiting options for link previews. Additionally, links might fail when redirecting to sites with strict Content Security Policies (CSP).
