A fast google-liked search engine for bookmarks that supports searching operators and offline indexing This extension indexes all your bookmark items once and updates its indexing database when a change occurs in your bookmark tree like a new bookmark being added, removed or modified. This database can then be used to find matching terms using the extension's popup window. The search engine of this extension is very powerful. It supports search operators like "OR" and "AND" which can be used to limit the search results with keywords. Read the FAQs page for more info Notes: 1. This extension sorts matching results based on their relevance. The number in the last row of the result section displays the matching percentage. 2. The first time indexing may take up to several minutes depending on the total number of bookmark items you have 3. To open a result in a new browser tab use Enter key. To open in a background tab, use Ctrl/Command + Enter key. To open in the current tab use Shift + Enter keys. 4. This extension only indexes the database once and does not re-index since it monitors bookmark changes. 5. This extension uses none-persistent background page to prevent any resource usage when it is not being used. 6. There are many search keywords that can be used with searching operators to better limit results. Make sure to check them in the FAQs page. A Speed Dial in your toolbar, with easy set-up and keyboard shortcuts Set up your HotList in the Bookmark Manager, access it from the toolbar in a choice of layouts and colours. For keyboard access, the default shortcut to open the extension is Alt+B (or Command+B). To change the shortcut, paste this into the address bar: chrome://extensions/shortcuts When the extension is open, shortcut keys (1-9 and A-Z) are available for each bookmark. Hold down the Space Bar to reveal hints. Open multiple tabs: 1 click will open a bookmark in a background tab, but the Popup stays open. A 2nd click on that bookmark will close the Popup and activate the tab, or you can open other bookmarks instead. The only automated modification to your bookmarks will be the creation of a new folder to contain those displayed by this extension, and a bookmark to get you started. Uses New Tab page to show bookmarks folder (Bookmarks Bar by default) for quick access to its items and allows to manage it This extension replaces Chrome's standard New Tab page with a very simple thing - a list of a content of a selected bookmarks folder (Bookmarks Bar by default), installed Chrome Extensions list and some useful Chrome shortcuts like settings, passwords, cookies, extensions and data cleanup. It also has a limited functionality for bookmark and extensions management - edit name/URL and position (and delete it) for bookmarks, and extension removal for extensions. In addition, extension also syncs with Google (if you have Chrome logged into your Google account) so you have settings synchronized across all computers you use Chrome at.
