Better Media Keys for YouTube
Use your media keys to navigate YouTube chapters, videos and Shorts. Navigate YouTube chapters and Shorts whilst not in focus of Chrome with Better Media Keys for YouTube (Including embedded video support). For videos without chapters; use your media keys to restart the currently playing video or skip to the video that's up next. Finally, the current chapter title will be used instead of the video title on the mini player by default. This is great for single video music playlists, to see what the current song title is instead of the playlist video title. Better Media Keys is highly customizable with a pop up settings page accessible by clicking on the extension icon. Don't like how the extension functions? Change it to your own preferences. You can disable chapter navigation in the settings. Note: You will need the keys 'MediaTrackPrevious' and 'MediaTrackNext' available on your keyboard for most of the functionality. This extension also doesn't change the way that playlists work on YouTube, you won't lose any functionality that you had before installing.
MultiTab Media Controller
This is an extension that allows you to batch control videos across multiple tabs! I developed it because I thought it would be useful when watching multiple videos simultaneously or for watching VODs of watchalong streams. You can quickly perform operations such as play/stop, playback speed adjustment, and seeking by a few seconds all at once. It has the following features: - List Display: Displays a list of video tabs from supported sites that are currently open. You can check thumbnails, titles, video sites, playback time, and playback speed. - Batch Operation: Allows you to perform batch play/stop, seek forward/backward by a desired number of seconds, and change playback speed for selected video tabs. - Individual Operation: Allows you to individually perform play/stop, seek, and speed changes for videos in each tab. - Speed Toggle: You can switch between two specified speeds (e.g., 1x/2x) with a single click. - Keyboard Shortcuts: You can assign a desired shortcut to the playback speed toggle (e.g., Ctrl + Up). This allows you to easily change playback speed while watching videos. - Site Blocking: If there are any videos you don't want to be displayed by this extension, you can immediately exclude them. - Lightweight & Local Processing: This extension operates and manages tabs on your device and does not send video data externally. When you run the extension, it will display a list of currently open video tabs. By selecting multiple videos and pressing the buttons at the top of the popup, you can perform those operations on all of them simultaneously. You can block videos you wish to hide by right-clicking on them. Videos from the same website URL will be excluded from now on and will not appear in the list. If you wish to unblock them, please launch this extension on the site you have blocked.
YouTube Music Media Keys
Control YouTube Music with media keys YouTube Music Media Keys enables seamless control of YouTube Music playback using your keyboard's hardware media keys (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) even when Chrome's built-in media key handling is disabled. Key Features: • Control YouTube Music with hardware media keys from any application • Works globally - no need to focus the YouTube Music tab • Lightweight and efficient - only activates when YouTube Music is open • Preserves media key functionality for other applications when YouTube Music isn't running • No intrusive popups or interface changes How it works: The extension detects when you press hardware media keys and automatically finds your YouTube Music tab to control playback. If no YouTube Music tab is open, the extension remains dormant, allowing other media players to handle the keys normally. Perfect for users who want dedicated YouTube Music control while keeping Chrome's media key handling disabled for other applications.
