Unwanted Twitch
Hide unwanted streams, games, categories, channels and tags on: twitch.tv Hide unwanted streams, games, categories, channels and tags on: twitch.tv Important Note: This is a best-effort approach to dealing with Twitch's different website views and has always been an arms race. It's not perfect and it will never be. If you expect the extension to always work flawlessly, don't even bother installing it. Know and understand the limits. Features - hide unwanted categories/games - hide unwanted channels/streams - hide unwanted tags - hide stream reruns - hide streams based on their title - filtering on "Following" page can be disabled (in settings) - toggle visibility of "X" buttons - share blacklists using import/export (in settings) - blacklist can automatically sync between devices (in settings, requires opt-in) - one-click-toggle to disable/enable extension (click on the extension icon to access) - compatible with FrankerFaceZ (FFZ) and other popular extensions for Twitch - supports Twitch's Dark Mode - supports pattern matching and regular expressions for dynamic blacklisting Supported pages - Browse: Categories - Browse: Live Channels - Game: Live Channels (preview slider is not filtered) - Game: Videos - Game: Clips - Frontpage/Discover (carousel is not filtered) - Explore Gaming/IRL/Music/Creative/Esports - Following - Sidebar (filtering only, no buttons to add items to the blacklist) - you can still access any blacklisted content via direct link Note about breaking changes on twitch.tv Twitch is infamous for changing their website without further notice, which may break this extension over night. Twitch also serves different canary builds (previews of potential future versions) to selected/random users for up to 4 weeks, which most likely break parts of the extension. If you notice pages no longer working properly, disable the extension, report the issue¹ and wait for an update. Note that updates may take a few days to be approved on the corresponding browser stores. 1-click quality for Twitch
Adds buttons to change qualities with one click. Adds buttons below the stream so it lets you change qualities with just one click. The On/Off switch saves the last quality setting, so that when you open new streams, that quality will be selected from the get go if it's available. If it's off, it uses the last quality saved from when it was on or if you selected it through Twitch's own quality options. I tend to hop back and forth a lot of streams running in the background, but leave all them running in 160p to save PC load. It was something I did for this exact purpose and thought someone else might think it's useful. 1.3: Fix: Buttons are working again Now, when a quality is saved beforehand and the stream doesn't have that quality enabled, it selects the nearest quality instead of defaulting to Auto. Added button border radius configuration. 1.2: Fix: Buttons are realigned properly when the window is resized. Fix: The saved options were reset in certain occasions. Added button text and background colors. Added automatically mute and unmute settings when clicking on the lowest and highest qualities. The above option, if enabled, is ignored in case the buttons are clicked while holding CTRL. Added the Turkish, Hindi, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean languages. 1.1.7: Fix: sometimes buttons wouldn't update or show up 1.1.6: Fix: buttons weren't updating when a stream re-started without leaving the page. 1.1.4: Fix: granted "tabs" permission to chrome, messageTwitchTabs function had a minor issue. 1.1.3: Fix: chrome.app got removed and broke the extension. 1.1.2: Fix: getStorage wouldn't return single values correctly. 1.1.1: Fixed spacing bug from v1.1, added animation toggle option. 1.1: Added position, scale and language customization.
