Provides access to a small floating YouTube window on any page! Anywhere Player for YouTube™ extension provides access to a floating YouTube Window on any page, and you can also drag the window to any position! Note: Anywhere Player for YouTube™ does NOT belong or relate to the official YouTube application/website at all. It is an unofficial extension that is developed and maintained independently. Note: YouTube works best if are logged in to your account, without logging in, videos may not play completely. So, before using the addon please open a new tab in your browser and log in to your YouTube account. To start working with this addon, please right-click on any page and then click on "Anywhere Player for YouTube™" from the context menu item. Alternatively, you can click on the toolbar button. The floating YouTube panel is resizable. To do so, please click the resize handle (gripper) on the bottom-right corner of the panel. YouTube Popout Player
This extension provides a simple way to open any YouTube video (including videos embedded in other sites/pages) in a "popout" window which you can freely position and resize. When viewing any YouTube video, whether directly YouTube, or embedded on any other website, you can either: - Right-click on the video and click the "Popout Player" option (at the bottom of the menu that is displayed) - Click the popout player icon (a square with a smaller square coming out of the top right corner), which can be found in the lower right corner of the video (by the settings and fullscreen icons) - Use the keyboard shortcuts (default CTRL + Up Arrow ) - Right-click on any link/thumbnail to a YouTube video or playlist, and use the "Open Video in Popout Player" or "Open Playlist in Popout Player" menu options. This works on any website as long as the link goes to YouTube.
Picture in Picture - PiP View
This extension brings a PiP view to all websites with an HTML video element. The extension adds a page action button to your browser. When a page has a video element, the color of this button changes. Press the button to open the active player in the Picture-in-Picture mode (PiP Mode). This extension automatically tries to use the active player. For YouTube, the extension also offers an in-player button next to the settings button to open the YouTube video in the picture-in-picture mode. You can use this extension to watch YouTube videos in a floating window that is on top of all other windows so tabs can be switched and still the player is visible. The floating window has play and pause buttons, and you can exit from the picture-in-picture mode anytime. What is the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode: This mode lets you play any video in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, and it works on all platforms. PiP is a popped-out, always-on-top video player that floats on top of other windows. You can also reposition it along the screen border while you continue to surf the internet. Notes: 1. You need Chrome version >= 70 for this extension to work 2. This extension works for players in iframes 3. This extension is based on manifest v3 4. The extension includes a script that prevents the page from leaving the Picture-in-Picture view for 2 seconds from version 0.3.2. This script helps to address issues with pages that disable the Picture-in-Picture feature or cancel the Picture-in-Picture requests. 5.
