Twitch also serves different canary builds (previews of potential future versions) to selected/random users for up to 4 weeks, which most likely break parts of the extension. If you notice pages no longer working properly, disable the extension, report the issue¹ and wait for an update. Note that updates may take a few days to be approved on the corresponding browser stores. Customize position, font, background on a per stream basis and sync and store your preferences across your devices. Twitch dark and light themes supported by default. Once installed, a Chat Overlay button will be added to the bottom right buttons panel of the Twitch video player which you can click to toggle the chat overlay on/off. Choose the perfect position, font size, color and that's it!
