New Tab Blank Black Page
New Tab opens with a blank black page Make your New Tab a simple Blank Black Page :) If you like a New Tab to open quickly and contain nothing this is the Extension for you. Get rid of the default Chrome New Tab and it's slow-loading privacy-pooping "Recently Opened Websites" icons. Why did I write this Extension? Because I don't like the default Chrome New Tab, and most importantly I want my New Tabs to simply be a blank black page. So here it is! As Eric S. Raymond said "Every good work of software starts by scratching a developer's personal itch." Blank New Tab Page
Override the default new tab page with blank page. This extension prevents "Google search" page from showing up when you open a new tab. You can also disable the "Sign in to Chrome" page that is shown when you open a new Chrome window, just go to "chrome://settings" page, choose "Open a specific page or set of pages" and enter "chrome://newtab".
Empty New Tab Page
With this extension, new tabs display a blank page instead of the usual new tab page with thumbnails. For those who don't want to worry which recently visited pages show up on the new tab page, who prefer plain over noisy, simple over complex. Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.
